The New Puma ST delivers a driving experience truly worthy of the iconic ST badge. Available with Selectable Drive Modes, including Normal, Sport, and Track, you can seamlessly change your Puma from a robust SUV about town, to an exhilarating all-round performer.
The precision-tuned chassis has been combined with an optional Mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (mLSD), which continuously optimises traction and stability settings to ensure outstanding ride quality and driving dynamics, whatever the conditions.
Key driving information is displayed in the 12.3” digital instrument cluster. While a host of smart assistance technologies work together to enhance your driving experience.
The ST model makes no compromise on the signature innovations of the Ford Puma SUV. Such as the unique Puma MegaBox with an additional 80-litres of rear storage space.
The New Puma ST is available with four Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, Eco, Sport and Track. Each setting fine-tunes the car’s performance by modifying engine mapping, throttle and steering response, as well as traction and stability control settings. So you can tailor your drive to any setting while key information is displayed via the 12.3” digital instrument cluster.
The Puma ST includes some ingenious modifications so that none of the fun-to-drive dynamics of ST are compromised by the increased ride height of its SUV platform. Enhancements such as an added torsion bar and stiffer rear twist beam counterbalance the SUV model’s higher centre of gravity to ensure stability. While uniquely tuned suspension springs increase lateral stiffness for sharper cornering.
The Puma ST features striking, race inspired RECARO front sports seats, with contrast Metal Grey stitching and an embossed Ford ST logo. The retentive Miko Dynamica material trim grips you firmly in place, while the seats are ergonomically designed to fit you perfectly, moulding you to every movement of the road.
The New Puma ST features a braking system optimised for performance, including larger front and rear disc components than on other Puma models, for greater stopping power.
Engineered for the pure joy of driving. The New Puma ST is the optimum balance of exhilarating performance and remarkable efficiency. The potent 1.5-litre turbocharged Ford EcoBoost engine delivers 200 PS, with 320 Nm of torque, and is capable of 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.
A 6-speed manual transmission is designed to help make the most of the power available to you. Shifts are short and fast and deliver smooth, precise performance with each and every gear change.
The Puma loadspace incorporates an innovative new MegaBox lower load compartment. Not only providing an extra 80-Litres of storage space, and able to house items up to 115 cm tall if needed, the MegaBox also features a waterproof lining and drain plug, making it easy to clean with water and the ideal space for storing wet boots or muddy sports gear.
Hands-free tailgate makes access to your Puma load compartment easy, even when your hands are full. With your KeyFree key fob in your pocket or bag, simply use a gentle foot movement under the centre of the rear bumper and the hands-free tailgate will operate without you having to touch a thing. It can also be opened and closed while sitting inside the car.
The Puma is available with an optional full-length panorama roof that completely replaces the steel roof panel. This lets natural light flood into the car to create a light and airy interior. The front half is power-operated and can tilt or slide right back, and a full-length, retractable sunshade lets you open the glass to get some fresh air while staying protected from the sun.
Ford Puma is available with the FordPass ConnectFordPass Connect Modem modem. The system provides a range of invaluable benefits, including up to 4G LTE WiFiWi-Fi Hotspot for up to ten devices, and real-time trafficLive Traffic acess updates delivered straight to your in-car satnav. Local hazard information, displayed as warning symbols in your instrument cluster, advises you of any obstacles you may be approaching. And in the event of an accident, FordPass Connect will even place an eCallFordPass eCall to the emergency services providing your vehicle’s location. Download the FordPass app to access even more features. For example, you can use your phone to locate your vehicle, lock and unlock it remotely. You can monitor fuel level, mileage and tyre pressure, and get vehicle health alerts direct to your phone.
Ford SYNC 3 is a state-of-the-art system that enables you to stay connected and control your phone, music and navigation system with natural voice commands. You can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”. It can read out your text messages too. The colour touchscreen features pinch-and-swipe gestures for intuitive navigation. SYNC 3 also connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and with AppLink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps.

Ford Co-Pilot360 combines a range of technologies that, together, work to make your driving experience more comfortable and more enjoyable than ever.
The Blind Spot Information System uses radar sensors to see vehicles that may be hidden in your blind spot. They’re situated on either side of your Puma ST and alert you with an orange light, clearly displayed in the side door mirror.
Whether the signs are at the side of the road or above it, permanent or temporary, Traffic Sign Recognition can identify them. Icons for speed limits and no-overtaking signs are displayed on the instrument cluster, alerting you to changing restrictions.
Bollards, bicycles, low walls… The rear-view camera shows what’s behind you on a screen built into the centre console. As well as revealing objects you might miss, the system displays virtual lines to help you park into the smallest of spaces. The camera activates automatically when you select reverse gear.
Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses camera technology to scan the road ahead. If a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected, it’ll then provide you with a warning. If you don’t respond in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even eliminate, some frontal collisions.
