IMPROVED PERFORMANCE AND LOWER FUEL BILLS

Hybrid and electric vehicles typically offer a smoother, quieter, more enjoyable drive, without compromising performance.

The overall cost of owning a hybrid or electric vehicle can be lower as well. Outstanding efficiency can mean less money spent on fuel, they tend to be cheaper to maintain, and are often eligible for tax incentives and government grants too.

WHICH HYBRID OR ELECTRIC VEHICLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

If you're considering making the switch to an electrified vehicle, then it's important you understand the differences between them. Click on the icons below to get more information on Mild Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and All-Electric Vehicles.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYBRID AND ELECTRIC VEHICLES?

Mild hybrids, full hybrids, and plug-in hybrids combine electric power with a traditional engine. All hybrids help improve efficiency, and some can even drive on electric power alone. All-electric vehicles, run solely on electricity, delivering instant power and zero emissions. From mild hybrids to Plug-In hybrids, electrified vehicles all have something in common, but there are important differences to each system. Watch our video to find out more.

WHAT'S THE RANGE ON HYBRID AND ELECTRIC VEHICLES

How far you can drive on electric power depends on the type of electrified vehicle. A mild hybrid can’t drive on battery power alone, but a plug-in hybrid is capable of electric-only driving to a range of up to 64 kilometresTooltip. All-electric vehicles have larger batteries, and newer models like Mustang Mach-E can drive over 600 kilometresTooltip before they need to be recharged.
