Go hands-free with SYNC 3

Ford SYNC 3 is a state-of-the-art system that enables you to stay connected and control your phone, music and navigation system with natural voice commands. You can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”. It can read out your text messages too. The colour touchscreen features pinch-and-swipe gestures for intuitive navigation. SYNC 3 also connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and with AppLink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps.

Unlock a world of connectivity

A built-in FordPass Connect modemFordPass Connect modem 20205 takes your Ford Kuga experience to the next level. With a host of useful features, including onboard Wi-FiWi-Fi Hotspot, enhanced in-car navigation, and real-time traffic updatesFordPass with Live Traffic. Locate your vehicle, lock and unlock the doors, or if you have a vehicle with an automatic transmission, even start the engine remotely. And in the event of an accident, FordPass Connect can automatically send an eCall (emergency call) to the emergency services and let them know where your vehicle is.

If you own a Kuga Plug-In Hybrid, the FordPass app delivers even more features exclusive to PHEV. View your current battery level and driving range; monitor your driving and power usage patterns; locate public charging stations and set preferred home charging times. You can even pre-set your cabin temperature ready for a departure.

Smartphone access to charging 

Should you choose a Plug-in Hybrid, we’ve made it easy to keep your All-New Kuga charged. Ford is working with NewMotion, Europe’s largest public charging network. This partnership allows you to access a host of additional charging solutions through your smartphone.  

You can locate and navigate to your nearest public charging points and even pay for it on the app.

Easy home charging

The New Kuga Plug-in Hybrid comes with two standard charging cables: one for regular home charging, and another for public charging stations.

Want to make charging your Plug-in Hybrid at home as fast as possible? A Ford Wall-Box can assist. With the help of one of our expert installation partners, we can help you arrange the installation of a higher-power Ford Wall-Box at home, as an optional accessory. Ford’s Wall-Boxes offer faster charge times versus charging via conventional plug sockets.

The interior of the Kuga is designed to maximise space and convenience. For example, the large media container in the centre console is big enough for even the largest smartphones.
