Everything you need to know about charging your Mustang Mach-E.
We're working to make every aspect of charging your Mustang Mach-E simple and convenient. We now have over 600,000 charge points in our BlueOval™ Charge Network and provide a variety of solutions for your home charging needs.
Mustang Mach-E comes with a cable to use at AC public points, as not all have their own cables built-in. All the high-power DC public charging points feature special, built-in charging cables, so you don’t need to bring one for these. For charging at home, you can simply plug the Mustang Mach-E into your regular mains supply using an optional charging cable.
Charging your Mustang Mach-E at home is as straightforward as charging your smartphone. Simply plug into a conventional wall socket using the Ford Universal Charge Cable that is supplied with your vehicle.
Alternatively, an optional Ford Connected Wallbox offers greater convenience with faster charging times than a domestic socket. The Wallbox has also been designed to work with the FordPass app, so you can manage your charging schedule remotely.

It can recharge up to 41kmExtended Range of range every hourCharging performance for a RWD Extended Range Mustang Mach-E. We can help to arrange the installation of a Ford Connected Wallbox through our specialist installer Bord Gáis Energy.
The supplied Ford Universal Charge Cable can also be plugged into a high-power socket, for up to 20 km of range every hourExtended Range Mustang Mach-E using a 3.1kW AC charger. You can also use a normal home socket. Charging is slower, about 12 km of range per hour, but useful for when you’re away visiting friends without any charging facility.
As with the Ford Connected Wallbox, you’ll need a qualified electrician to install a high-power socket for you.

Public charging points are great for when you’re out and about and many offer faster charging than when you’re at home. 150kW DC charge points can deliver 10-80% charge in approximately 33minsStandard Range using a 150kW. Perfect when you need to recharge on the go.
Mustang Mach-E makes it easy to manage your electric car's battery range while you’re out and about. Cloud-based connectivity gives comprehensive destination search results. So you can plan your routes to include the most convenient public charging points. Access features easily through the SYNC 4 touchscreen, or by using remarkably simple voice commands such as, “hey Ford, find me a place to charge.”
A key FordPass feature for Mustang Mach-E is the EV Trip Planner. When searching for a destination, the system displays your current charge status and remaining driving distance. It can even suggest convenient public charging locations along your planned route, if required, and can automatically factor these charging stops into the trip to optimise range, efficiency, journey time, and comfort breaks.
