Online ordering
How do I order the Mustang Mach-E?
Due to unprecedented demand for Mustang Mach-E, Ford is temporarily limiting customer ordering of Mustang Mach-E. Some orders can still be fulfilled via our online inventory or dealer stock subject to availability. New ordering will be re-enabled as soon as possible. We plan to offer interested customers the ability to signal their interest online and notify them when stock is available. At this time, please use the "Keep Me Informed" links to register your interest in ordering a Mustang Mach-E. This does not affect customers who have already ordered a car. The global semiconductor shortage continues to affect Ford’s plants – along with other automakers and other industries around the world. We have teams working on how to maximize production, with a continued commitment to building every vehicle for our customers with the quality they expect.
How much is the reservation fee?
You may need to pay your selected Ford Dealer a refundable reservation fee. The dealer will specify the deposit amount as part of the checkout process on the Ford website.
Payments made on the Ford website will be processed using a third-party payment processor.
What’s the status of my order?
Once your reservation fee has been received, we’ll send you an email confirming your order has been placed. You can then track the progress of your order through your Ford Account. We’ll also send you an email whenever there are any updates.
Can I transfer my order?
When you order your Mustang Mach-E, you’ll be sent a unique order number. This number is a unique randomly issued 8 digit number, it is not sequential. For your own benefit and security, this number is assigned to you and cannot be transferred.

Can I make changes to my order?

We suggest you keep any changes to a minimum, as these could delay your delivery time.
Can I order more than one vehicle at a time?
You can order a maximum of 2 Mustang Mach-E vehicles per household.
If you want to order more than 2 vehicles for your business, you’ll need to contact a participating Ford Dealer.
Can I choose which Ford Dealer I buy a Mustang Mach-E from?
Sure thing. Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles will be sold by participating Ford Dealers. You’ll choose your preferred Ford Dealer when you place your order.
Can I change my mind about which Ford Dealer I purchase my Mustang Mach-E from?
If you change your mind and want to buy from a different Ford Dealer, please call your original dealer or the CRC to discuss next steps. You may need to cancel your order through your Ford Account.
Then you can order a Ford Mustang Mach-E again, paying a new reservation fee to your new Ford Dealer, if applicable.
You will be refunded your initial reservation fee within 7 days. Please bear in mind that your new vehicle may be built later than the original vehicle.
Can I order a Mustang Mach-E in a Ford Dealership?
Orders are only accepted online. But if you prefer to go in store, a participating Ford Dealer will be happy to talk you through the process.
How can I cancel my order?
We'd be sad to see you go, so if you're having issues or want to make any changes, get in touch and let us know. We'll do all we can to help.
You can contact Ford Customer Services on 02035644444 or through Live Chat when an operator becomes available.
If you do want to cancel your order, just log into your Ford Account, click the cancellation button and follow the on-screen instructions. Your reservation fee will be refunded within 7 days via your original payment method.
If you have a finance or lease application on your order, you will be unable to cancel your order online. You will need to talk to your Ford Dealer who will arrange the cancellation for you.
If your order is over 6 months old and your payment card has expired, we will refund your reservation fee manually and this will take up to 10 working days. This will be arranged by the CRC.
If I cancel my order, is my reservation fee fully refundable?
Yes it is.
If you change your mind and want to cancel your order, simply log into your Ford Account, click the cancellation button and follow the on-screen instructions. Your reservation fee will be refunded via your original payment method within 7 days.
How can I track the status of my order? What are the next steps?
Whenever there’s an update to your order, we’ll send you an email to let you know. For instance you’ll be notified when your car is being built or when it’s ready for collection or delivery.
You can also log into your Ford Account at any time to track the progress of your Ford Mustang Mach-E.
What if I’m not happy with the car after collection/delivery?
Please inform your Ford Dealer about any issues straight away.
We’ll aim to rectify any problems and find a solution as soon as practically possible.
Do I have to register my car myself?
No, your selected Ford Dealer will take care of registration for you.
There may be exceptions to this if you’re buying your Mustang Mach-E from a country that is not your country of residence.

What is the customer order form?
The customer order from sets out the terms and conditions between you as the customer and your selected Ford Dealer.
Why do I need to sign the customer contract?
The online order process will inform you when a customer order form needs to be signed. For your convenience. our online journey includes an online signature.
Can I sign the customer contract at the dealership?
Yes. If you would feel more comfortable with this approach please select the option to 'sign at dealer'.
How do I cancel my order if I have a finance application underway?
You will need to speak to your Ford Dealer to cancel.
How do I add items to my order?
Adding to your order post checkout will need to be discussed with your Ford Dealer.
Will my information be shared with anyone?
Your order information will be shared with your selected Ford Dealer.

I've accidentally deleted my vehicle from the basket, can I get my vehicle back?
You will be directed back to the configurator where you can reselect your vehicle.
What happens if my preferred dealer stops trading?
The Ford CRC will be in touch with you - please contact them if you wish.
Why can I not buy from my preferred dealer?
You can select to buy from any participating Ford Dealer on the Ford website. If your preferred dealer is not available, they will not be taking part in online sales.
When do I need to pay the balance for items not included in my finance?
You will need to pay this balance prior to e-signing your finance contract. You can do this online (up to a limit of £1000) or speak to your Ford Dealer about settling the balance offline.
Who do I need to pay the balance to?
Your preferred Ford Dealer. The balance can be taken offline or online (up to a maximum of £1,000).
Online showroom
What is the online showroom?
Head to the online showroom to see all the vehicles we currently have in stock across our dealer network.
How can I tell if there are factory-fitted options on a vehicle?
This will appear under the ‘extras’ field when you click on a vehicle in the online showroom.
Why can't I find the vehicle I'm looking for?
If we don't have any vehicles matching your preferences, you can adjust the online showroom's search filters to find similar models.
Why are there different lead times on certain vehicles?
Lead times shown on the website are an estimate of how long it will take to receive a vehicle from its current stage of production.
Make sure that you select the right lead time for your circumstances. For example, if you are waiting for your current lease to expire, you might order a vehicle with a longer lead time than someone who needs one immediately.
How accurate are the lead times?
Lead times are based on the most recent known location of vehicles and are updated daily. If you buy a vehicle online you'll get regular updates about the status of your vehicle.
Accessories
Where can I purchase accessories?
You can add available accessories in the checkout stage. You will find these under the 'extras' heading. If you cannot find an accessory you are looking for online, please contact your Ford Dealer who may offer alternatives to the products available online.
What are charging accessories?
All accessories related to ensuring that you can charge your new electric vehicle.
Can I buy accessories after I make an order?
Once you have completed checkout online, you will not be able to add accessories to your order but your Ford Dealer will be able to supply them in a separate transaction.
How do I find out the price for wallbox installation?
You will be contacted by our approved installation partner who will be able to give you an accurate price for wallbox installation.
When will the wallbox be installed?
This will be agreed with you and our installation partner once you have agreed the price for supply and installation.
Can I buy an accessory online?
One-off purchases of accessories can be done at your Ford Dealer, not online.
I have purchased accessories along with my vehicle. Will they be ready at collection/delivery?
Please contact your Ford Dealer to confirm.
Charging
What are charging accessories?
All accessories related to ensuring that you can charge an electric vehicle.
How do I find out the price for wallbox installation?
You will be contacted by our approved installation partner who will be able to give you an accurate price for wallbox installation.
When will the wallbox be installed?
This will be agreed with our installation partner once you have agreed the price for supply and installation.
Connected features
What are the benefits of connecting my vehicle to my phone in the Ford app?
Get the most out of your vehicle by connecting to the Ford app or your Ford Account to unlock powerful features. Create a driver profile, pre-set your vehicle's settings and customise your drive experience before it even arrives.
The Ford app and Ford Account give you access to features such as:
- Charging management for electric vehicles.
- Climate conditioning.
- Ambient lighting and sound control.
- Vehicle handling.
What does 'pre-conditioning' your electric vehicle mean?
Much like setting an alarm, pre-conditioning prepares your car for the day ahead. With your vehicle plugged-in, you can enter planned commute times and preferred cabin temperatures and 'wake' your car each day. These simple actions help preserve vehicle range and make sure your Mustang Mach-E is charged and ready to go when you are.
How many driver profiles can I have on my Mustang Mach-E?
Remote Vehicle Setup allows you to create one profile before delivery. Once you are behind the wheel, you may send that profile to your Mustang Mach-E and set up two other drivers directly from the SYNC 4A screen inside the vehicle.
How do I change my profile settings?
Once you apply your profile in the vehicle, access to Remote Vehicle Setup will be limited and you will need to manage your settings directly in-vehicle or in the Ford app.
How do I save my profile?
Your profile is automatically saved as you complete each step.
Why won't my settings send to my Mustang Mach-E?
It may be a connectivity problem. Make sure you and your Mustang Mach-E are in an area with good Wi-Fi or a network connection and press 'Send to Vehicle' from Remote Vehicle Setup. Your profile may take a few minutes to load. If you do not see the personalised welcome message after a few minutes, turn off the ignition, unlock the doors, wait two minutes and try again. If you continue to experience issues, contact us for help.
Where do I find my settings in my Mustang Mach-E?
For profile settings: press your profile photo at the top of your SYNC screen.
For saved places: press Navigation, then the search bar.
For departure times: press your profile photo at the top of your SYNC screen. Scroll down until you see Departure and Comfort.
For Drive Experiences: press your profile photo at the top of your SYNC screen. Then, at the top of the screen, select Controls. Scroll down until you see Drive Experiences.
Will you store or share my data if I connect my Mustang Mach-E to FordPass or my Ford Account?
We only use the information we collect to deliver a more personalised driving and charging experience. For example, your vehicle location is used to find nearby charging stations and provide navigation services. Please see our FordPass Privacy Policy and Ford Connected Vehicle Privacy Policy for more information.
What happens if I don't connect my vehicle to the Ford app or my Ford Account?
Our vehicles are connected vehicles designed to enhance your driving and charging experiences with time-saving features such as remote start/stop, lock/unlock and even pre-conditioning of the vehicle. If you don't connect to the Ford app or your Ford Account you won't have access to any connected features and won't be using your vehicle to its full potential.

Can I arrange a test drive?
The new Ford Mustang Mach-E is now available to test drive, Please request a test drive online or find a dealership near you and they will be happy to accommodate your request.

Will there be more than one Mustang Mach-E model available?
There are 3 different Mustang Mach-E models available; Mustang Mach-E RWD, Mustang Mach-E AWD, & the Mustang Mach-E GT.

How much does the Mustang Mach-E cost?
The Ford RRP price of the Mustang Mach-E is available as you configure your vehicle on the website. Prices may differ by dealer, but by selecting your preferred Ford Dealer, you can see their specific price.
Is it cheaper to order a vehicle online?
The Ford RRP is displayed when you select your vehicle on the website. Choose your preferred Ford Dealer to see their specific price.
Can I order a Mustang Mach-E for my business?
Yes, you can order the Mustang Mach-E for your business. It's as easy as selecting the business setting during the checkout process.
If you want to order more than 2 vehicles for your business, you’ll need to contact a participating Ford Dealer.
What does the 'Recommended OTR Price' mean?
This is the recommended ‘On the Road’ price. It includes a retail customer saving where applicable, first year road fund licence, DVLA First Registration Fee, cost of number plates (estimated) and VAT (at 20%).
Once you have selected your Ford Dealer this may be adjusted to reflect the Dealer On the Road Promotional Price.
When will I get the valuation for my trade-in?
A valuation will be provided during the online journey. Your chosen Ford Dealer will need to arrange an appointment to view your vehicle and appraise the trade-in valuation provided before handover.
Can I negotiate a different valuation from the one you have given me?
You can choose to accept or reject the offer shown and discuss your trade-in directly with your chosen Ford Dealer. Or, of course, you can sell your car privately.
Why have you provided an estimate based on future valuation?
The future valuation is intended to provide a valuation for when your new Ford will be ready to collect.
Finance
What finance options are available for me?
You can arrange your own finance offline or the following finance plans are available online:
Private individuals may apply for a Ford Options finance agreement from Ford Credit.
Business customers may apply for a Ford Contract Hire agreement from Ford Lease.
Why have I been asked to provide more information for my finance application?
In some instances Ford Credit or Ford Lease may require further information from you to support your finance application. If this is the case we will notify you via email.
What happens if my online credit application is not accepted?
If your online finance application is unsuccessful then we will notify you of this decision and your next steps via email.
Can I make a finance application online?
Yes. Private individuals may apply for Ford Options from Ford Credit and business customers may apply for Ford Contract Hire from Ford Lease.
When will I find out if my finance application has been successful?
You should receive a decision within 48 hours and will be notified via email.
I haven't received an email about my finance application submission - what do I do?
If it has been more than 48 hours and you have checked your spam, please contact your Ford Dealer.
I already have separate finance agreed. How do I continue my order?
Select the Alternative Payment Method. Your Ford Dealer can verify the availability of your financing method offline and the status of your online order will be updated accordingly.
What does the alternative payment cover?
Any finance, lease or payment method that is not available online.
Can I include accessories in my finance application?
We are unable to finance accessories online. You may still add accessories to your vehicle but you will have to pay for these separately.
How do I cancel my order if I have finance application underway?
If you haven't signed your Finance Agreement then you will need to speak to your Ford Dealer.
Ford Credit customers may cancel their finance application but they cannot cancel their finance agreement.
How do I cancel finance but not the order?
You will need to speak to your Ford Dealer.
Can I amend my order after I have confirmed my finance application?
Amending your order post finance application will need to be discussed with your Ford Dealer.
Can I sign my finance agreement online?
Yes. A few weeks before delivery you will be notified via your Ford Account that the contract is ready for you to sign online.
How do I pay the final balance to the dealer?
You will likely pay the balance via a bank transfer. Your Ford Dealer will provide their account details shortly before handover of your new Ford.
When will I make my first monthly payment?
If you are buying online then your first monthly payment will be 30 days from the date you signed your agreement. You can log into your Ford Account and see when your first payment is due.
Leasing
What finance options are available for me?
You can arrange your own finance offline or the following finance plans are available online:
Private individuals may apply for a Ford Options finance agreement from Ford Credit.
Business customers may apply for a Ford Contract Hire agreement from Ford Lease.
The dealer I selected does not support online lease applications. What can I do?
If your preferred dealer does not support online lease applications then you may discuss an offline finance solution with them or select an alternative Ford Dealer who is able to support online lease applications.

How do I buy charging products if I am leasing the vehicle?
Upon selection of online Ford Lease you can find selected charging products in the checkout.
Can I cancel my leasing agreement once I have signed it?
Depending on your trading style, you may have the right to cancel your hire agreement within 14 calendar days, starting from the day after you signed the agreement electronically. If you do cancel your agreement then any monies you’ve paid to us or Ford Lease will be refunded. If you have any questions regarding cancelling your leasing agreement, feel free to contact Ford Lease on 0344 600 1405.
Can I cancel or change my vehicle order once I have signed my leasing agreement?

How do I make my advance payment for my Ford Lease?
The advance payment is payable when you are invited back to the website to e-sign your agreement. The advance payment must be paid by credit or debit card.
When will I make my first monthly payment?
The first monthly payment will be due during the calendar month following delivery of the vehicle. This will be collected by Direct Debit on the date selected on your direct debit form.

Collection & delivery
When will my Mustang Mach-E arrive?
Your delivery time will depend on when you order and what lead time you select when you place your order. An estimated delivery date will be provided on the Customer Order Form when you place the order. Updates will be provided to you throughout the process either by email, on the Ford Account or by your Ford Dealer.
If I cancel and resubmit a new order, will it delay my delivery date?
If you cancel your order and place a new one, then yes, your replacement vehicle may be built after your original vehicle was due to be built.
This means you’ll probably receive your Mustang Mach-E later than originally anticipated.
How will I receive my vehicle?
Once available, you can collect your vehicle from your selected Ford Dealer. Some dealers may also offer home delivery at an extra cost.
If you buy from a Ford Dealer outside your country of residence, you may not have the option for home delivery.
When your Mustang Mach-E is ready, we’ll send you an email to arrange a suitable date for delivery or collection. At this point, your Ford Dealer will also let you know what documents you need to provide at collection/delivery.
You can view and edit your delivery choice in your Ford Account (participating dealers only).
Can I change my chosen method of delivery after I place my order?
This is not possible online. If changes are required, please speak to your Ford Dealer.

Why won't my chosen Ford Dealer deliver to my address?
Delivery is subject to the dealership's discretion. Please contact your Ford Dealer for full details.

Can someone talk me through the features of the car?
Yes. This will happen during collection/delivery.

Your Ford Account
What is a Ford Account and why do I need one?
A Ford Account lets you sign into the Ford website to save and manage your personal and order information.
You need to create a Ford Account to order the new Mustang Mach-E.
A Ford Account gives you access to:
- View your new Mustang Mach-E order.
- Status updates and notifications of actions relating to your Mustang Mach-E order.
- Personalised features, like access to your owner's manual.
- Helpful how-to videos.
How can I update my personal details?
Go into the Settings section on the Ford app or your Ford Account. Here you can update details such as your email address.
