Self-charging Ford Galaxy Hybrid

Galaxy’s highly efficient 2.5-litre Atkinson petrol engine with a battery-powered electric motor. The system recaptures energy usually lost while coasting and decelerating and uses it to recharge battery. Since the self-charging Galaxy Hybrid has a powerful water-cooled battery it also drives short distances on electric power alone. To preserve boot space, the battery is nested under the floor. The new hybrid system delivers an impressive 190PS, all the power you will ever need. The Galaxy Hybrid also has a towing capacity of up to 1510 kg in the seven-seat configuration, and up to 1710 kg in the five seat mode, so whether you want to tow a small boat, jetski or trailer you have all the capability you need.
