With a mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (manual transmission only), Transit Custom Trail helps you to reach even the remotest destinations. And an imposing new design with optional roof rails and side steps makes sure you’ll stand out from the crowd.
Transit Custom Trail is available as an EcoBoost Hybrid. This hybrid technology helps to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions, with a small battery-powered electric motor providing extra support to the combustion engine when needed. Kinetic energy and regenerative braking recharges the 48-volt hybrid battery while you drive.
Transit Custom Trail is built to help you tackle challenging terrain with ease. Available on vehicles with a manual transmission, the mechanical Limited-Slip Differential reduces unwanted wheel spin, especially on loose or uneven surfaces, by directing power to the wheel with the most traction. This helps to keep you moving forwards and improves the van's stability when you need it most.
The new Transit Custom Trail features a range of powerful, clean and refined 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines, with four available powertrains offering up to 185 PS of horsepower. Every engine meets the stringent Euro 6.2 emission standards.
