As part of Ford Ireland’s official vehicle supplier partnership with the FAI - The Ford Republic of Football was born. The FROF is all about bringing the Irish football fans closer to the Ireland team and its players. Supporters can become a citizen of the Republic on Ford Ireland’s facebook page, where you’ll have the opportunity to win many exclusive prizes, as well as checking out updates from the Ford ambassadors, footballer John O’Shea and comedian PJ Gallagher.

As an ambassador John will be giving updates on the Ford Ireland facebook page before and during the team head to Poland next month as Ireland look to take on European football giants Italy and Croatia, as well as defending champions and World Cup winners Spain. He’ll be sending in regular posts from inside the camp including some funny pictures & videos as well as the serious stuff!

On June 6th comedian PJ Gallagher will also be heading on a Road Trip across Europe to Poland as part of the “Ford Republic of Football” campaign. The Dublin funnyman will be keeping citizens of the Republic, especially those who can’t make it over Poznan, updated as he’ll be at the heart of the action, mixing it up with the travelling fans as well as visits to the team’s training ground and all of Ireland’s games.
