Facia-mounted gearshift
This is ergonomically designed to fall naturally to hand and offer a smoother, more car-like, gear shift. The facia-mounted gearshift also gives a completely clear floor area, allowing passenger and driver unrestricted cross-cab access.
Passenger seats
Your passengers can relax in spacious comfort whether you choose the 15 or 17-seat Minibus. And however long the journey, they will remain safe in the knowledge that they are protected by individually height-adjustable head restraints and lap and diagonal 3-point seat belts.
Headlights
The lighting technology in the Transit Minibus has been designed to make night-time driving easier, safer and more comfortable. We have designed the headlights to provide maximum light in all conditions with the large lens incorporating an optional fog light to help make driving easier when the going gets tough. Also the optional auto-headlights turn on when the sensors detect a reduction in daylight, which means you won’t need to turn them on when you are going through a tunnel.
Innovative bumpers
To make light work of cleaning the windscreen, we’ve added a step in the bumper. These bumpers have also been designed in three pieces so they are easier and more cost-effective to replace – should they ever get knocked.
Rear doors
The glazed rear doors with twin wash/wipe help create a lighter cabin for passengers. The rear windows are equipped with auto rear wipers that work when reverse gear is selected, to help you back into tricky corners.
Security alarms
You can rest easy, no matter where you park. Your Transit Minibus comes with a choice of two levels of alarm, which incorporate the latest technology such as an interior scanner and battery back-up to ensure your sound investment remains so. Transit Minibus also features:
- Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) disables the engine when your key isn’t in the ignition. The engine only primes when you use an ignition key with the unique code recognised by the PATS system
- High-security shielded locks with strengthened mountings to prevent lock tampering
- Unique lock-in-latch door lock system eliminates cables and rods between the lock and latch
- Central or double locking, key-operated bonnet release and locking fuel cap to thwart potential thieves
- Shielded spare wheel support
- Visible Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

Controlled from two switches mounted on an exclusive 4-spoke leather steering wheel, cruise control makes travelling long distances so much more relaxing.
