Ranger interior
Interior design
We spent a great deal of time designing the interior of the new Ranger. And because we know how much of your working day will be spent in the cab, we've made sure you'll feel right at home.
Versatile interior
Wherever you go in new Ranger, you'll appreciate the ergonomic design. Enjoy new features like the intuitively designed instrument panel, the restyled interior lighting and connection for your music player. Superior style options include illuminated scuff panels (standard on Thunder and Wildtrak), electrically-operated heated door mirrors and privacy glass. Supportive, beautifully crafted seats will make every journey relaxed and enjoyable, whether you're off-road, travelling to a business meeting or making a trip the shops.
Handy stowage
An ergonomically designed interior will make your life easier whether you are using your new Ranger for business or leisure. To keep things organised, there’s a two-tier centre console with a double lid, so no matter how wet or muddy things get outside, inside things will remain clean and dry. The upper compartment is ideal for mobile phones and sunglasses, while the lower bin stores larger objects, with space for up to 10 CDs. In addition, there’s a massive 8.1 litre lockable glove box, which contains a 380 mm x 130 mm pullout working tray that can support an impressive 10 kg in weight.

Of course, because hard work is thirsty work, there are up to five cup holders within easy reach of the driver and front passenger, plus two, 1-litre bottle holders.
Comfort and support
The new Ranger series has specially sculpted front-row seating designed to give greater body support over the ups and downs of even the most challenging terrain. The driver’s seat also provides a commanding view of the road ahead providing excellent sight-lines over traffic.
Premium interior
The ergonomically designed interior has a truly contemporary feel. A stylish two-tone finish is enhanced by silver-chrome edging to dials, switches and door handles, so they not only look good, they are also highly visible. New interior lighting also enhances Ranger's new car-like feel.
Ergonomic design
From the moment you take your seat in your new Ranger, you’ll notice the impressive visibility and superb ergonomic design of the controls. The contemporary feel and comfortable, elevated seating put you in the ideal position, whether you’re working or playing hard.
Sound design
There’s no point having a good audio system if you can’t hear it, so we have carefully designed the interior to keep noise and vibration to a bare minimum. Something you’ll really appreciate when choosing the top-of-the-range 6-CD system. This is capable of playing MP3 files on a CD through its six speakers.
Information
While you enjoy the comforts of home inside, the Off-Road Information Centre* will tell you everything you need to know about what’s happening outside. At a glance, the instruments set into the top of the dashboard show outside temperature, climb/descent and inclination angles, and the compass direction you are travelling in.
