Intelligent Protection System (IPS) is a clever series of measures that work together to deliver incredible levels of occupant safety. The rigid passenger safety cell has energy-absorbing crumple zones, both front and rear, to reduce the effects of impact. We’ve added more airbags to minimise injury, in addition to fitting advanced seat and seat belt technology designed to keep driver and passenger safely in their seats.
Seat and seatbelt technology
Driver and passenger have the added protection of retractor pretensioner three-point seat belts. These work in tandem with anti-submarining seats designed to reduce the risk of whiplash in the event of a collision. Also, the safety belt reminder system encourages you to buckle up.
