Steering Wheel Controls and Ford Convers+
This intuitive digital command centre is standard on all Mondeo models and now upgraded to make it even easier for you to stay in complete control of many of the car’s systems. You can choose from a standard, enhanced or Ford Convers+ cluster display, all now featuring enhanced graphics for improved clarity and more of a cockpit feel. Convers+ is standard on the Titanium.

The systems are operated by two steering wheel-mounted toggles for audio and vehicle settings. With the left toggle you can find and change radio stations or CD tracks, as well as set the volume. The right toggle switch controls the cluster display for vehicle settings and the trip computer. On the Ford Convers+ cluster display, the right toggle lets you scroll through MultiMedia lists, controlling the phone, radio, and CD player. There's also built-in connectivity available for your iPod®, MP3 player or USB stick so you can control your player via the car’s audio system, with the playlist shown in the Convers+ display.

Bluetooth®* with Voice Control

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Forward Alert (FA)
With ACC you can automatically keep your chosen distance from the car in front. Should the car in front slow down and reduce the gap, your speed drops, too. And when traffic speeds up, you automatically return to cruising speed. Meanwhile, FA monitors your distance to the vehicle in front and if you drive too close, a warning noise and flashing light activate. Available with Adjustable Speed Limiter (optional on Titanium).
Dual Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC)
What if you feel the cold, but your passenger doesn’t? You and your front passenger can set the temperature with up to 4°C variation between you. Standard on Zetec and Titanium.
Mobile navigation system
Turn your compatible Bluetooth®*-enabled smartphone (mobile phone not included) into a navigation unit. Simply insert the navigation chip, enter your journey details and the phone will transmit route data to the car’s audio system and instrumentation cluster (available in combination with Sony audio systems).

MP3 and USB connector
With Mondeo, an AUX jack is available as standard, so you can plug in your MP3 player and operate it yourself. You can also use the USB connection to plug in your MP3 player. To control the music, just operate the remote audio controls, or issue voice commands using Bluetooth® with Voice Control technology. Consult with your Ford Dealer.
Lane Departure Warning
Using an ingenious forward- facing camera this tactile and visual alert triggers when the driver changes lanes without indicating. Three short vibrations are sent through the steering wheel, while a warning light is displayed in the instrument cluster (option as part of the driver assistance pack on Titanium).
Auto High Beam
Switches the headlights from high beam to low beam as soon as the system detects oncoming traffic or a pre-defined lighting level. Conversely, it detects the road is clear before automatically switching back to high beam (option as part of the driver assistance pack on Titanium).
Driver Alert
Continuously analyses the driver's level of vigilance by assessing direction of travel and vehicle behaviour. When the system calculates the driver's attention falls below a certain level, it will display a 'take a break' message in the instrument cluster. If it detects a more sudden loss of attention, such as drifting across a lane, a warning chimes and additional visual alerts warn the driver (option as part of the driver assistance pack on Titanium).
