Design features
Kuga has many design flourishes that set it apart. Its sporty front includes a muscular trapezoid grille, optional jewel-like bi-xenon headlights and chrome style air vents in the front wing panels. Along its sides, pronounced wheel arches accentuate athletic lines, which are further enhanced by the striking twin chrome exhausts.
Panorama roof
Our optional panorama roof lets natural light flood in, and this brighter, airier feel makes the already spacious cabin seem even bigger. Its solar-reflective coating reduces the effect of the sun’s heat inside, plus there’s also an integral blind that can be drawn to keep out virtually all the sun’s rays. So your passengers can sit back in their perfectly controlled and comfortable environment to enjoy the passing scenery and sky.
Best-in-class CO2 emissions
Kuga’s intelligent (optional) all-wheel-drive (AWD) system helps return remarkable fuel economy figures of 100 km per 6.4 litres of fuel. Not to mention the class-leading CO2 emission figure of 169 g/km from the AWD model. And if you choose the front-wheel-drive model, CO2 emissions are 165 g/km.
TÜV allergy, Asthma Society of Ireland and British certification
If you, or a member of your family suffer from allergies, you’ll be relieved to know that all the materials we use inside Kuga have been fully tested to meet the stringent anti-allergy requirements of the TÜV TOXPROOF Criteria Catalogue for Vehicle Interiors by the TÜV Produkt and Umwelt GmbH, which is a Germany quality standard, as well as having the ‘seal of approval’ from the British Allergy Foundation and the Asthma Society of Ireland.

Commitment to the future
We are constantly striving to find ways of reducing our impact on the environment. Happily, 95% of all Ford vehicles and their constituent parts can be used again in other vehicles or in other processes. The noise insulation is made from used denim jeans and reclaimed upholstery.
