Great value Ford Focus autumn scrappage programme
Cork, 6 August 2010 – Ford Ireland has announced details of a new scrappage incentive programme for Ireland’s best-selling car, the Ford Focus.
At participating Ford Dealers nationwide, customers will now be able to scrap their old car for a brand new Focus Style 1.6 diesel 3-door for just €16,315* or the 5-door model for just €16,935*. As part of the offer, both models come loaded with extras as standard such as: air conditioning, 16” alloys, Bluetooth® Voice Control and front fog lamps.
“Our Focus has always been a great value package that is why it has been Ireland’s best-selling car for the last number of years” said Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director, Ford Ireland. “And with this extra incentive for the car representing nearly €5,000 off the normal price, I really think this is the best value scrappage proposition on the market”.
The Focus Style 1.6 diesel has a CO2 emissions rating of just 118g/km placing it in the lowest road tax band A with an annual road tax bill of just €104.
“We have a limited number of units available under this special offer and of course, they are only available to customers who qualify under the rules of the government scrappage scheme…” said Murphy.
